Singing my sonnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggg!

I really enjoyed doing a challenge from http://gesso-dragon.blogspot.com/ The challenge was to paint "sing a song" and post your favorite song. I posted a song that has alot of meaning this year to me and that is "Singing my Song" by Christina.

I started out by gessoing the page and then smooshing the pages together to create demention. I printed out the words and set them aside. II then I painted the words "favorite song and favorite quote and then painted pink around the border of the page.  I then took a straw and dropped watered down paint onto the page and then blew it around with the straw. I painted the flower with acrylics and then used oil pastels and Sharpie water based pen to jazz it up! I stamped my favorite quote "Do what you can, with what you have, where you are. It is my favorite quote because when you come out of a tramatic illness it is ALL you CAN do is to do what you can, with what you have, where you are. This quote motivated me to be a better person by babystepping my way to where I am today! I had alot of fun painting this with my girls. They did pages where all they painted was the watered down paint and then used the straws to blow the paint around. COOL!

Enjoy and please let me know what you think! :O)

What a wonderful page!
I also want to tell you that I love how you describe what you've done and not just posted a pic of the page. That is an awesome addition to the post.

Thanks for sharing!
